Our Story

Color Me Cotton (CMC) by Touché was envisioned, created and launched in 1978 from a garage in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. From its humble beginning, the concept for Color Me Cotton consisted of fluid designs, natural fibers and a dazzling array of colors. Color me Cotton is a fashion statement blended from both American and European influences.

For more than 40 years, Color Me Cotton has continued evolving with comfort and style as priority. All CMC garments are made in the USA, garment dyed and available in a dazzling rainbow of colors each season. All work is done in house, from designing and patternmaking to packing and shipping. Every garment is cut and sewn to order. Our contractors, dye house and print facilities are located within 15 miles of our factory. This results in reducing our carbon footprint by over 75%. Color Me Cotton is great for both the environment and our consumers!

As the name Color Me Cotton implies, our assortment is cotton rich; crafted in fabrications such as Cotton Stretch and Non-Stretch French Terry, Cotton Slub French Terry, Pima Cotton Jersey knits, Cotton Sweater Knits, Cotton Gauze and Double Gauze. Complementing our collection is our luxurious French Linen. Also, based on customer feedback, CMC has developed incredibly beautiful Tapestries and Cotton Chenille, which have become signature fabrications for the Fall season. We select the best fibers to achieve a soft, drapey feel, yet we remain earth-friendly by using all natural products. Collectively, there are endless wardrobe possibilities with colors, prints and fabric choices. Our designs are targeted to all generations who appreciate the ease of the machine washable/dryable fabrics. Our sizes range from XS - XXL.
