In 1978, after learning the ropes in the apparel industry, Joseph Demirjian launched Color Me Cotton from the garage of his home in southern California. Josephs concept for Color Me Cotton consisted of fluid designs, natural fibers and a dazzling array of color. It was a fashion statement blended of both American and European influences stemming back to Josephs native home of Armenia renowned as a crossroads of culture.
Color Me Cotton has evolved to JD-CMC, Inc. consisting of two divisions: CMC & CLICK. Thirty years later, comfort and style remain a priority and color is still paramount. CMC & CLICK are garment dyed and available in over 20 shades each season. Collectively, there are endless wardrobing possibilities with colors, prints and fabric choices. The designs are targeted to both baby boomers and generation X, who appreciate the ease of the machine washable and dryable fabrics. The extensive size range encompasses XS-XXL.
As its name implies, CMC is the cotton division, crafted in fabrications such as crinkled cotton, french terry, stretch sateen and soft jersey knits. Customer demand explains the ever-growing collection of t-shirts available throughout the year; as well as the incredibly beautiful tapestry jackets that have become the signature of the Fall season. Click utilizes linen, tencel gabardine and elegant cupro chiffon. Tencel and cupro have a wonderful quality and feel man-made, yet still earth-friendly by incorporating all natural products.
